     Hi,  I'm Jo Lyn Cornelsen, RN.  As a Care Provider myself,  I can tell you that sometimes I've been in awe of my own success, while other times I felt like there would never be a way out of the hands-on business maze I had created for myself.

     For years I worked hard, struggling to "get ahead", working 18+ hours a day - nursing, teaching and caregiving  plus raising a family.  Then at night - between my children and my clients, I'd be lucky to get 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep in between attending to my residents' night care needs. 

     Sometimes I found myself immersed in negative spirals.  You'll probably agree with me - that it's very easy to focus always on your residents' immediate needs - and there are always more needs than anyone can possibly fill. Despite that demand, I focused well enough that my Care Home Business was successful ~ but at times, something seemed to be keeping me from fully enjoying life as a care provider.

     Before I created my AFH, I investigated the business thoroughly, and thought I knew everything.  But the actual experience of opening, owning and operating the care home took me to a whole new level!  At it's best, my business brought in $250,000/year.  At it's worst - well, let's just say that in the beginning, I became adept at juggling credit lines just to stay afloat. 

     There's a lesson in every experience, and my eventual health challenges drove several points home. One, I found it was easy to lose myself in the process of caring for others. Two, I found that what I focus on is what I get more of.

     Now, after ten + years in the AFH business, I'm changing how I work.  I'm focusing my energies on helping you do better business and have more fun and abundance as a care provider. 

In this letter, I will explain this exciting, new, cost-effective "system" that you can use to identify and create the kind of fulfillment you've wanted to experience in your Care Home business.  

I have created this system to share information and methods that I've learned in the last 15 years of working within the AFH industry.  This program has the potential to increase your life satisfaction by leaps and bounds, if you are willing to take it on.    


What is the basis of this system? 

It is simply to change your focus for a few hours each week, where you work ON your business, not just IN it.

With this Comprehensive System, you will "meet" with me each week - three times monthly, for 60 minutes at a time.  No need to leave home  - today's wonderful technologies provide the platform for us to connect via Tele-Conference Calls, Online, or if that's not convenient, then in Print Media. 

Here's the line-up of our Monthly "meetings":

Week #1: Continuing Education regarding specifics of providing Quality Resident Care ~ the actual focus of the AFH business itself.  Quality Care = Quality business.  Every Adult Care Provider needs to continually increase his/her knowledge base in order to provide better care. 

Week #2: Continuing Education regarding Caring for the Caregiver ~ tools you can use to prevent and eliminate Burnout... and go beyond it... into living each day with greater personal health, vitality and joy.  This is my favorite week of the series.  Incremental changes in this area will produce huge benefits in all other areas of your life.

Week #3: Better Business Focus ~ Innovations, opportunities and resources to help you fine-tune your business processes will keep you "in the know".  Guest speakers and outside resources abound - and having them come to you on a monthly basis - without you having to research them yourself, can save you time and money, and catapult you into greater business focus and growth.

That's three evenings of Quality Training each month.  And there's no need to hire a relief caregiver while you're "in class"!  You will receive each of these trainings in the privacy and comfort of your own home! 

Plus, two of these trainings qualify as Continuing Education Hours for Washington State AFH careproviders and caregivers.  For these, you will receive a Certificate - and the trainings will be structured so you can use them to train your own employees as well, at no additional cost!  

This small change of focusing ON your business three times per month will bring about great results.  You will find that you only need to make small changes to bring about great effects.

You may have a Question:  The coaching program sounds helpful and interesting - but I'm also imagining that it will cost a fortune!  Am I right?

My Answer: You know, I once subscribed to a training program that cost me $49/month, and I received just one training per month.  My goal with this AFH Business Coaching program is to give incredible value, and provide interesting, informative and helpful trainings at a price anyone can afford, so that members will 1. Stay involved long-term, and 2. Encourage their friends to join! 

$49/month seems too high for new Care Providers, but if I offer it for less to them, I really can't justify charging that much to experienced Care Providers. 

So I'm simply cutting the program cost in half!  $27/month is very reasonable - it's triple the value of the other program at about half the cost.  You'll receive access to three trainings each month - two of which can be used as Continuing Education for yourself and all the caregivers who work for you..... 

Excellent value, minimum cost.  You'll have three coaching sessions/trainings each month, plus the opportunity to ask AFH Business questions via email, and have them answered at the end of each training.  That's training, plus professional coaching, at less than $30/month.
