Mental Health and Dementia Specialty Trainings

These trainings are required before an AFH Care Provider can accept residents with these specialty needs.  Many residents are admitted to Care Homes because of these specialty needs, and some have dual or triple diagnosis.  It makes good business sense for all Care Providers to complete these trainings and be ready to accept and provide care for the right new resident when the opportunity arises.

Each of these one-day trainings costs just $75.  Testing is required.  Though the training is the same, students must choose to take the Manager Test (more difficult) or the Caregiver Test (more simple).  The Manager Test  is required for those who want to become Care Home Providers (AFH business owners) and AFH Resident Managers.
